Sycamore hosted Creek Wood last week as the Lady War Eagles celebrated Senior Night. Sycamore led 1-0 at halftime but a second-half surge allowed the Lady War Eagles to pull away for the 3-0 win.
Senior Kyleigh Binkley scored the only first-half goal and did go on to score another goal in the second half as well.
Junior Isabella Hess also scored in the second half to make it a 3-0 game.
Following the match, Sycamore celebrated their trainer, Ryan Lipe. After four years as the War Eagles’ trainer, he’s leaving to go to Fort Campbell to work for the U.S. Army as a trainer.
Sycamore is scheduled to travel to Fairview next Tuesday for a rematch with the Lady Jackets.
