The Harpeth Unified team scrimmaged the Harpeth boys’ basketball team last week. During the events, the school celebrated some awards.
Lauren Simpson, the director of Tennessee Unified Schools, was presented with a plaque for the ESPN Honor Roll. Harpeth was given awards from the State Special Olympics President.
The Unified team was able to win the basketball scrimmage 50-39 and on Saturday, teams from Harpeth, Sycamore and Cheatham all traveled to Lipscomb University to take part in the State Special Olympics Basketball Tournament.
