Clarksville area athletes sign scholarships



More than a dozen Montgomery County athletes sign to play in college

Throughout the week of February 5, several high school athletes at various Clarksville schools signed their national letters of intent to continue their careers at the collegiate level. Here is a list of those signees as submitted by area athletic directors:

Clarksville High’s William Zielinski signed to the Air Force Academy.

Clarksville High’s Laney Best signed to Carson Newman.

Clarksville High’s Donovan Bowles signed to Kentucky Wesleyan College.

Clarksville High’s Charlie Balthrop signed to Austin Peay State University.

Clarksville High’s Zyrion Elliott signed to Beloit College.

Kirkwood’s Xan Woods signed to Lindsey Wilson College.

Kirkwood’s Trevor Newell signed to Murray State University.

West Creek’s Jayden Hines signed to Western Kentucky University.
