Dickson County High School had two athletes at the TSSAA state tournament this past week with Rachael Brewer and Sarah Potter both competing.
Brewer ran in the 300-meter hurdles while Potter ran in the 1,600-meter run.
Both Lady Cougar athletes made the podium as Brewer finished in seventh with a time of 46.11 and Potter finished in eighth with a time of 5:07.95.
Brewer and Potter will both have an opportunity to improve on their finishes as Brewer is just a junior and Potter is a freshman. Potter was one of only three freshmen to compete in her event.
