Dickson saw its softball season come to an end last week when the Lady Cougars lost to Northwest in the district tournament.
The Lady Cougars had defeated Northwest in the first round but then had to face Northwest again in the loser’s bracket after falling to Henry County in the second round. Dickson lost its second matchup with Northwest to bring the season to an end.
The first district tournament game against Northwest saw Dickson County put up 14 runs. Libbie Wilson and Avery Graham both picked up two doubles while Graham led the team with three RBI. Every starter in the lineup picked up a hit in the rout of Northwest.
Dickson lost to Henry County 13-3 the following day on Tuesday and then fell out of the tournament on Wednesday night with a 13-4 loss to Northwest.
