The winning four-member team champions include Ries Lerond with a time of 2:23, Loren Sloan 2:28, Andi Lerond 2:23, and Alyssa Andrea with a time of 2:26. They won with a total team time of 9:42.79.

FHS track coach Cory Phillips said the Lady Jackets’ time “shattered the school record and beat the next best team time by 19 seconds.” He also noted the young ladies representing Fairview High became the first relay team in Fairview High School history to win a State Championship.

This same team of ladies also finished fourth in the 4×400 meter run with a time of 4:16.36.

With this year’s win, Alyssa Andrea also became the first 3-time State Track Champion in school history. She was a two-time State Cross Country Champion in 2020 and 2021.

The Fairview High Boys Track Team also enjoyed success at State securing an eighth place finish in the 4×800 meter event along with Lucas Caselletta-Holmes placing fourth in the 100-meter dash and eighth in the 400-meter run.
