Fairview High School crowned Kylan Keller the 2023 FHS Basketball Coming Home King during a special ceremony held last Friday night between the girls and boys basketball games.
After announcing the Fairview High School Class of 2026 won the Coming Home Spirit Stick, the 2023 Coming Home court was introduced as follows:
Freshman Jax McCoy, son of Trey and Megan McCoy, escorted by Addison Catron, daughter of Chris and Gretchen Catron. Jax is a member of the Fairview High football and basketball teams. His favorite high school memory is Homecoming Week and coaching powderpuff.
Sophomore Travon Murry, son of Kenny Murry and Yvonne Anderson, escorted by Skylar Peoples, daughter of Rivera People’s and Jamesia Dowell. Travon is a member of the Fairview High football and track teams. He is also in the Beta Club. His favorite high school memory is hearing the crowd cheer after making his first touchdown.
Junior Brady Sullivan, son of Jeff and Misty Sullivan, escorted by Hannah Newman, daughter of Christy Newman. Brady is a member of the Fairview High bowling team, theater group and FFA. He also enjoys farming with his dad. His favorite high school memory is hanging out with friends in the student section on game days.
Senior Chance Carter, son of Scott and Melissa Carter, escorted by Eliza Johnson, daughter of Ray and Celinda Flake. Chance is a member of the Fairview High football team and serves as the senior class president on Student Council. He also enjoys going to the gym and mountain biking in his free time. His favorite high school memory is riding in the homecoming parade because he felt a strong sense of community.
Senior Andrew Halliburton, son of Stephen and Amber Halliburton, escorted by Owen Keeler, son of Sean and Erica Keeler. Andrew is a member of the Fairview High yearbook club, HOSA, Thespian Society, GSA, Beta Club, National Honors Society, and serves as a Be Nice Ambassador. His favorite high school memory is being backstage manager for Cinderella.
Senior Kylan Keller, son of Bobby and Toni Gibson, escorted by Kohli Keller, daughter of Bobby and Toni Gibson. Kylan is a member of the Fairview High baseball team and FFA. He also serves as the Senior Class secretary for Student Council and is one of the Student Section Leaders. His favorite high school memory is striking out Ellis Hurt in a close district game against Harpeth.
Senior Boe Sanderson, son of Craig and Ashley Sanderson, escorted by Maddie Sanderson, daughter of Craig and Ashley Sanderson. Boe is a member of the Fairview High football, wrestling and track teams. His favorite high school memory is winning State for wrestling his sophomore year.
