PENCIL announces new board members, officers




Nashville education nonprofit PENCIL announced a new class of board members Tuesday, as well as new board officers.

Twenty-two people joined PENCIL’s primary board as well as its Emerging Leaders Board as of July 1. Board members serve three-year terms.

“PENCIL is delighted to welcome a wonderful class of new board members, each of whom has a personal commitment to supporting public education and the students of Metro Nashville Public Schools,” PENCIL CEO and President Angie Adams said. “We are honored they have chosen PENCIL as their conduit for investing in our local schools.”
