The 2023 Turkey Trot to benefit Graceworks will be held Thursday, Nov. 23 the Meridian Cool Springs development at the PICA building, 3000 Meridian Blvd. in Franklin. The Fall 2023 Tennessee Military Collectors Association Militaria Relics Show will be held Nov. 24-25 at the Cool Springs Marriott, 700 Cool Springs Blvd. in Franklin. The event is open to the public from noon to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25. Admission is free for Junior ROTC and Scout members in uniform, children under 15 (when accompanied by a parent) and active-duty military, police and fire department members. For all others, admission is $5. Parking is free. The main ballroom, plus two large side rooms, will have more than 400 tables filled with military artifacts for display or sale, including uniforms, medals, badges, photos, swords, daggers, vintage military weapons, flags, helmets, insignia, radios, cameras, binoculars, books, paper artifacts, home front collectibles and more. Weather permitting, there may also be WW II-era military vehicles in the parking lot. Proceeds from TMCA shows have been used to support veterans, and JROTC and Junior Marines programs.
