Tennessee hunters bagged some 11,000 fewer deer this past season than the year before. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency reported 152,227 deer harvested statewide, compared to 163,244 the previous season. Giles County led the way with 3,869, followed by Sumner County with 3,515.
