On the next Maury County commission, 15 of the seated commissioners will be Republican. Of that 15 who will serve, 10 of them won contested races, while only four who ran in Thursday's race as Republicans did not win.

Water – or the lack thereof – has become a consistent issue in Spring Hill over the past month, as twice the city has issued a ban on residential watering in that time frame.
